I guess this is a thing, so here goes. I'm 17 (unfortunately) and DD an '85 Corvette 4 (or 7 according to C&D) speed. I'm also the least interesting or motivated person I know. My answers will be like healthy stuff for your proverbial trick or treating. Metaphorical cynical healthy snacks.

Haha it's good to know that I'm not alone in my laziness at least. I'm a junior, and 80s stuff along with some classic electronic and a mix of other old stuff. It's an eclectic mix of stuff but living in the past is the way to go.

Nothing. Finnegan and Frieburger are great guys. I hope I get the opportunity to meet them some day. I guess ill have to take my Taurus to Power Tour, better yet, Drag Week. Once I get a Turbo or centrifugal supercharger, it may actually be a descent sleeper. Or at least a good FWD smoke show.

I like your perspective, Rusto. I don't have a single real friend along with about as much ambition, and spend all of my time being nostalgic about times I never lived through but the car has certainly sweetened the deal especially considering the latter point. I kinda regret posting my age for the first time in a couple years, though. Somewhat defeats my purpose for coming here.

Yeah, but put it into perspective: if JayZAyEighty is 17 that means he was born near 1997. You are 15, so you were born near 1999.

I was born in 1990. The Soviet Union was technically still a thing back then! I remember the roads of America being covered in the remnants of the '80s and the new, blunted boxes of the '90s with their shitty grey plastic cladding and LOLHUGE airbag covers. I remember that awesome flecked blue and white cut-pile fabric used on the seats of a 1992 Plymouth Voyager and how that same car had cool built-in child seats. I remember VHS and how weird DVDs were when I finally got a DVD player some time in 2003.

The thing of it is, I have a strong memory so I can see my earliest years pretty clearly and I remember how huge the changes were between 1990 and 2014.

I'm going to try to get into drag week. Car is a 675hp stroked 427 in a 61 galaxie 4 door with a 6 speed that may or may not be turboed by the time drag week starts next year.

After seeing power tour leave Charlotte I have no desire to join that rolling traffic jam.

I live in Raleigh NC but the drag week is usually 4 tracks and 1200miles ish in the mid west.
